How to do the Offline Activation in Mainconsole

Description
We have tow method to do the license Transfer.
1. Online Transfer (If your Mainconsole connect to the internet)
2. Offline Transfer (If your Mainconsole does not connect to the internet)
Here we'll introduce the Offline Transfer.

Solution

1.Go to “General Setting” and click “License Manager”.

2. Use License Management Tool to Activate your Serial Number, please choose Offline activation and pess Export offline pack.

--> Please notice that once you export offline pack, this offline pack can only be used for one time
no matter the activation is successful or not. If you have to do license activation again, please generate
a "new" offline pack to do so.

3. Please click Y (Yes) and it will immediately show another confirmation column. Click Y (Yes).

4. Next, it will prompt a window to ask where you want to save offline activation files? Please make a new folder or save it on desktop. Save it and click OK.

Note: Remember to take this folder to another PC which is connected to the Internet.

“Offline activation” files will show at where you save. At this example, we save “Offline activation” files on desktop.

5. And then take this folder to another PC which is connected to the Internet.
Open the OfflinePack folder and double click the OfflineTool.

6. You will see a column “Offline Tool” like the following

Please key in SN numbers, for example: 1234-ABCD-5678-0000 then click Activate bottom.

Note: The SN (Serial Number) is included in the package that you purchase for IP camera licenses.

7. And then you will see this confirmation column, please press OK.

The system will show another confirmation column about where you want to save “offline_license.dll”, please press OK.

8.Copy the “offline_license.dll” back to the original PC without network.

9.Please return to “License Management Tool”.

Important: Remember to return to “License Management Tool” NOT “Offline Tool”.
Please browsing “offline_license.dll”, then press “Import”.

10. In the end, you will see this confirmation column. Click OK.

And it will show "Import License file successful."

Then you can see your license list in the License Management Tool

Please notice that once you export offline pack, this offline pack can only be used for one time
no matter the activation is successful or not. If you have to do license activation again, please generate
a "new" offline pack to do so.
