The solution seamlessly combines NUUO Mainconsole Family products with POS solutions from major vendors such as Micros, NCR, Gilbarco, and Epicor. NUUO Retail Solution directly addresses the shrinkage problem by connecting surveillance video with transaction data from Point of Sale (POS) and NUUO Mainconsole products to send alerts when a transaction is void. All transactions are stored in a secure and searchable database with attached video footage for individual transaction review.
 
NUUO Retail Solution aims to be simple to use, easy to install, yet complete with features to directly combat shrinkage. In addition to new connectivity options and easy POS integration, NUUO Retail Solution also offers additional features like gigapixel video coverage via NUUO Image Fusion Technology and video analytics that provides useful information like customer conversion rate and traffic changes.
 
The NUUO Retail Gateway is the intermediary software that utilizes TCP/IP to capture and send all the transaction data between POS software and NUUO recording systems. NUUO currently offers serial port POS connection to communicate between POS and NUUO Mainconsole products. NUUO Retail Gateway instead uses standard TCP/IP protocol. TCP/IP is a widely accepted standard and allows for easy IT management, infrastructure design, and back office support.
 
NUUO Retail Gateway installation is a simple process via either software license or hardware license (USB dongle) options. Only a single server is required to support up to 48 NUUO Retail Gateway license connections. The NUUO Retail Solution and Retail Gateway are available immediately.
