Transport NUUO Around Jakarta.
 NUUO software functions well during the rush hours of mass transportation in Jakarta.
Challenge
Jakarta is the capital and the largest city of Indonesia. With more than 23 million residents, it is the eleventh most populous city in the world. Its metropolitan transit system plays a critical role in allowing efficient local travel in this area of high population density. Providing reliable security for this system is therefore crucial to Jakarta citizens and the local economy. Since January 2004, the Indonesian government started to provide TransJakarta buses with dedicated lanes, in order to shield them and their passengers from the delaying effects of local traffic. This construction proved to be a strong economic stimulus, especially to the middle class, spurring a decision to immediately expand the TransJakarta system to 7 bus lines.
Solution
The 7 main lines and 122 bus stops of TransJakarta are watched over by 207 analog cameras managed by 120 SCB-3004 Capture Cards. This system is used to monitor passenger capacity and detect foreign objects. The system also makes sure camera views are constantly clear, in-focus, and unobstructed. As more cameras are installed, the system software will require higher integration capabilities. In a few years the Jakarta government will expand up to 15 bus lines, and once the network of buses is finished, the surveillance system will be ready.
