The Colorado Convention Center is one of the most practical and "user friendly" meeting facilities ever built. Every facet of the building, including it's security system, must embody these traits.

More than 100 professional meeting planners worked with the architects to design every aspect of the convention center. The result is a simple, sensible, state-of-the-art, beautiful building in the heart of downtown Denver. The center decided to upgrade its original surveillance system with NUUO's hybrid surveillance system so that, instead of having to rip out their entire surveillance apparatus and replace it with a new system, they could seamlessly integrate the newer, IP-camera-based system with the existing installation of analog cameras. The cost savings and efficiency that this ability provides allow for a far more comprehensive solution than could be afforded otherwise.

The exhibit level offers 584,000 square feet of contiguous space that can be divided into six individual halls. There are 63 meeting rooms, totaling 100,000 square feet, all on one level. A total of 85,000 square feet of hotel quality ballroom space is also available. A 35,000 square foot ballroom that is divisible in half or thirds, and a 50,000 square foot ballroom that is divisible into eighteen individual meeting rooms or literally hundreds of possible configurations. In addition, there is a 5,000 seat theatre, especially designed for the center, as well as a new Light Rail Train Station which is located under the attached 1,000 space parking garage. The new surveillance system, based on NUUO software controlling 200 cameras, provides full security coverage of the expansive center.
